Professional Development in Creating District Technology Evaluations

Sun Associates offers professional development that engages district teams around the development of program evaluations of instructional technology initiatives.

Many of the teams that engage in this training are piloting 1:1 computing initiatives, and therefore create evaluations that focus on the educational impact of devices such as iPads or laptop computers. The evaluation process that is the basis of our professional development program is one which works well as a basic program evaluation methodology for any number of educational projects. In fact, some teams use the methodology to conduct instructional technology audits. Sun Associates uses this methodology for our technology evaluation work as well as evaluations of various content-specific professional development projects.
